The Fall 2024 cohort begins in mid-September and moves through the program together for 5 months, through January 2025.

BUT after the 5 months, you’re part of the Rookie Redeveloper community for life.

You’ll always have access to the content and a standing invite to join future calls. 

 Redevelopment timelines can be long, and no one is expected to actually go through each step of the Redevelopment Roadmap in five short months. 

Each member of the cohort will be expected to have a “case study” project - it could be a project they currently have under way, or a theoretical project they’d love to tackle. 

This case study project allows you to move through each module with a way to apply what you’re learning in our group challenges. 

Then, once you do find yourself in a particular stage of a development deal, you’ve got experience, resources, and community at your beck and call. 

The group calls will generally be held on the third Wednesday of each month, from 3-5 pm CST.

You will get the most value out of Rookie Redeveloper if you attend these sessions live. 

If you need to miss one or two, they are recorded and the replays are shared right after the call.

One of my favorite parts of Rookie Redeveloper is that it attracts investors with a super wide range of experience.

We’ve had architects, GCs, and custom home builders.

We’ve had investors straight out of college and veterans with decades of experience.

We’ve had investors who had already started their redevelopment journeys and were mid-project, and we’ve had investors who had some land and an idea, and wanted to take the first step. 

All of them left with a roadmap for their project and the confidence to take their vision from concept to closing 🎉

Rookie Redeveloper covers redevelopment strategies like new construction (both build to rent AND build to sell) and restoration/renovations of an existing property. 

As for asset classes, we cover residential, commercial, and mixed use. 

Past students projects include townhomes, cottage clusters, boutique hotels/motels, mixed use construction or renovation, tiny home communities, apartment complexes, container home STRs, vacation rental construction, and more.

Rookie Redeveloper is for real estate investors who have some experience with strategies like build and hold, STRs, or flipping. 

You do not need prior new construction experience! 

Part of the reason behind the application process is to make sure your experience and expectations are aligned with the program. 

If you are totally new to real estate investing, Rookie Redeveloper is not for you (at least not yet!)

I highly recommend checking out the BiggerPockets community, books, and podcasts to get you started on a beginner real estate investment strategy!

Once you have a project or two under your belt (whether it's a rental or a flip), let's talk! 

Because I keep each group small, I don’t extend an invitation to everyone.

It’s crucial that my coaching style, experience, and the structure of the course is an optimal fit for your learning style and goals. 

We'll also fill you in on all the details of the program (including pricing options) and makes sure all your questions and concerns are addressed.

 If I honestly don’t think it’s the right next step for you yet, I’ll still give you recommendations and options for next steps!

There are 5 major parts to Rookie Redeveloper:

1. Our monthly calls where you present the results of that month’s challenge, share wins, and ask questions (these are recorded but live attendance is highly encouraged)
2. Bonus calls with real estate experts on different topics (also recorded)
3. Two 1:1 strategy sessions with me (you can schedule them any time throughout the 5 months) 
4. The online modules: 7 modules for each step of the redevelopment roadmap. Each has video lessons, additional resources, and downloads. 
5. The community FB group: Post questions, start conversations, make connections, and get feedback from me in the exclusive Rookie Redeveloper forums. 

Each month is broken down into weekly goals and expectations. 

In week 1 of every month, we release new content in the modules and post prompts/conversation starters in the forums. We also announce the details of that specific challenge you’ll present in the group call. Plan to spend 30 minutes to 1 hour getting an overview of our focus for the month.

Week 2 is implementation week: plan to spend 1-3 hours working through the content and making progress on your challenge! 

Week 3 is our live call (90-120 minutes). Present the progress you made in that month’s Accountability Challenge. Ask questions about how to apply the content and resources to your own project and goals. Share wins and work through roadblocks. Learn from fellow investors’ progress, challenges, and breakthroughs.

Week 4 is your time for more implementation. We may also have a bonus training or virtual happy hour (1 hour); it’s also a great time to schedule your 1:1 strategy calls. 

In total, expect to invest 6-10 hours a month participating in Rookie Redeveloper and applying your learning to your goals, but this can range widely depending on your experience with the month's content and where you are in your project. 

If you've gone through the entirety of the course (5 months), used the resources, participated on the forums, and still don't feel like you've gotten your investment back (and then some), I will refund your money.
